Really didn't know where to post this, so here goes...
Whatever happened to this book? It's been like, what, 2 years?
Would like to know any info regarding it!

Well, it takes a long time to write a book like that to cover all areas and trends. I have been working on mine and I had my theories, just with time in the field is when you can tell what the reality actually is.

Hi Akira
just let you know, Book is happening :-)
it's been a difficult process
we have first stage signed off with the publishers and will be come
out next year.
sorry, I can't give you more details yet, we are just so busy, as
soon as we have more time we will issue a statement and progress
report on the book.
2005 has been a super busy year for D-Fuse..... we have been working
with Beck producing a DVD Audio/DVD Video and a european/us tour.
An interesting combination.
Books take a longtime to process and this book even longer!!
Thanks
MikeF D-Fuse

http://www.vj-book.com/ As opposed to this "VJ Book" (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1932595090/qid=1126780072/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/104-4552453-3371154?v=glance&s=books&n=507846).
Please folks, come up with less generic, more interesting names. This is supposed to be a creative community.

pfffff...
what will they publish?
vj profiles + clips three years old? (2004 was when they called urgently for entries)
better rename it "a historical look on vjing some time ago"

thanks Mondo for posting. the chinese blocked my logging in!!
quick email to respond to brain........
unfortunately, the publishing industry is slow, it takes about 2 years to get things processed.
so it's always going to be out of date.
the onedotzero book took about 4 years. would you consider that out of date?
Anyway, most industries are slow, the fashion industry already knows what you will be wearing in 4 years time.
I agree certain aspects of the book will be out of date eg. software, hardware,
But VJs work.... how prolific are you? maybe this work should be saved for the VJ magazine
what happened to the VJ magazine?
Were going to do our best [on limited budget] to produce something that promotes VJing, can't promise anything else.
