Good find! These are used to provide daylight balanced light. It's important when doing video if sunlight and artificial light are mixed. If you mix sunlight and tungsten or worse standard flourescent in the same shot the white balance will be off which especially messes with skin tones. These look to be about 1/3 to 1/5 the usual price.
