DVD Output revisited!

Hello,
I am currently using a Sony Vaio NV109m Lappy with Ati Radeon 7500 dual head card. The Lappy has a built in DVD rom which I would like to use for Vjing (i.e showing DVD's sometimes). Unfortunately DVD's dont appear to show on the second output window. Any advice on how I can switch off second monitor output on the card so that my data projector can mirror the desktop. Or am I destined to purchase another bit of kit i.e portable DVD player for vjing?

Laptops often have a function key (i.e. func key + another key) that will switch the second output between different modes.

Failing that, have a look in your display settings - when you see the image that shows two monitors, click the second one and untick 'extend my windows desktop to this monitor' - that should do the trick.
