I don't really know what is fascinating me about frosted projection surfaces, but for the last year or so (i've posted other misc stuff on plexi glass screens..ooo they are expensive by the way) I have been unable to stop thinking about them....Be that as it may, thinking is good! :)

Here's a new concept that i came up with. My local video rental store has finally done in with their old way of storing VHS tapes, and to make a longer story shorter, they have about 1000 of those old white rental cases, hopefully most of you know what those look like. They were having a contest on what they should do with all those cases...and here is what i thought up. :)

First, cut off each front panel, the smooth side, not the ones with the two raised thingys that help hold the vhs tape. Then find a method to fasten them all together into a box. (or i suppose one flat screen, but i thought because this is mainly an artisitic venture, why not go 3-d?) The end result would be a large cube, that could be projected on or lit up from the inside:) wouldn't that look cool?

I hope i win the contest! wish me luck :)
