This is great. Proprietary media formats are a bummer. I wonder if it will need its own player?
BBC is just doing so much cool stuff right now. WHat is up with that?

wow they say:
In demonstrations it was used to compress 720 x 576-pixel resolution footage into a 1 million bits per second (Mbps) video stream.
1000000 bits devided by 8 is 125000 bytes, so they claim 720x576 good quality video @ 125 kb/s...... in a non mpeg4 clone, but wavelet. so that means you can keyframe everyframe etc
