do dvd players skip?

do dvd players skip because of the bass in clubs?is there anywhere around this?(wrapping,flight cases)DANKE!

I had the problem with DVD skiping 1 time (but the vj podium was on top of the bass speaker :-0 ) I had to put foam between the dvd and the table and then it was fine.

coolest thing i saw in a vj setup was a portable dvdplayer on a spiral arm don't know if it work tho, but made quite an impression ;)

Yes, some even skip when it's not so bassy. I'd recommend against the koss or nextbase portables, I'll be getting a BenQ soon, which advertises its skip protection a lot, so hopefully that will be better.

Now I just wish they had ones with a pitch shift!
