3 hours drive in Bruce's Van , right after Avit
getting late to Brixton, London.
The Brixton Academy doors where opened already
& the party started kicking already
Getting our gear down fast as we can, walking via the labyrinth of the back stage, starting to set up fast
while inside-us-all already got it all sorted out (put)
it was somwhat small Avit extension as we had:
Levlhed (US), Dr.Eskaton (eX Oz) & I (IL) ,
Bruce with his Camera & WellREDman as a guest on the chair for the good vibe.
we all joined the Inside-us-all crew (UK) for a huge psychadelic gig with the hommega all stars: Infected Mushroom, Sub 6, Astrix, & Dali
Inside got us a was a power VJ set up:
we were 4-5 vj's & a rebel
(Ralph from Inside-us-all steped in at times joining Bruce with 2nd Camera)
we had 3 v4's - 1 per VJ
and an mx50 + mx20 for downstream circular key.
3 Circular screens above the stage
2 x 10ft and one 15ft plus 2 10ft
2 x 4:3 screens up high either side of te stage
& apparently the had plasmas in the foyer although i didn't go look at them
Avit was intense, I was pretty tired,
but when I hooked the lappy in at last [thanks lev],
i got right into the mix, after watching only at Avit.. i had just the right "hunger"
what was beutiful for me ,was having good freinds together on the mix, with whom i dont get often the chance to "play" with
it was so much fun!
i felt great to be able to have a visual conversation with good old freinds. there was listening, there was a sentence & reply
i felt it went well.
having distorted feedback isnt classic for psy Trance..
but we like it! so there it was!
Good on u inside-us-alll guys for the great set up
i know dave left Avit after a weelk of setting up & de-rigging just to do one more massive setting up @ Brixton again. Respect!
Respect for Bruce & Ralph for great Camera work
i think we all had a great time, almost forgot how tired I was...
made me want more of that sort of mass mix & setup!!
