After discussing this with a couple of people I would like to put forward the possibily of a VJ Wiki. It would allow us to have far more of a complete dictionary of all things VJing. At the moment VJForums is a solid home of all things discussed but it can be a pain to wade through the threads to find answers or information on a subject.
VJ Central has something like a wiki in the articles section but individuals other than the original poster can't improve or correct entries is time.
A good example would be product info - say the new H-400HD, it would be good to have a product page with what information we've got so far and as more comes arround it can be improved - not reviews but it can include links to outside articles and forum posts.
The articles/reviews section is still relevent with how to's and so forth but the wiki could allow the sharing of more a central page for each subject.
I think more than anything it would be improving the dictionary that is already there and opening up to each others knowledge.... There's free wiki hosting out there but I would assume it could be added to the VJCentral server as its not much more than a SQL database and PHP + some work setting it up.
Thoughts?
