PC VJ setups

Hi to all VJs out there!

I'm new to VJing this but I have a lot of expereince in the Computer Industry as a whole and I've done a bit of DJing on the side.

One question for all you PC VJs out there:

Does anyone run a PC Laptop for triggering video samples (i.e. Resolume) and then run a MAC Powerbook for groovy stuff like Artmatic and Videoelic???

If so, do you run the two through a video mixer which then outputs to a projector??

Or do you guys stick to one H/W platform???

it alwas depends to your personal needs.
we are using two pc?s and a lappy for triggering
and rendering based on resolume, Flash and others.

If you like to run a multi os setup just as pc/mac/linux
you wouldn?t come around of a videomixer.

at least if I had the money I would use pc and mac to
use the best of both systems.

i use 2 pc's and mix via a edi V4, i dont really like triggers i prefer the old school hw method
