i dunno if this can be changed, but..
when i go to view new posts i can see all the new posts but if i dont read them all in one go(ie i post a reply or follow a link) then when i go back to view new posts it says there are none (ie it's tagging them as read even tho i've only looked at the title)

use the back button on your browser and it will work.

only if youve only gone about two clicks away, otherwise it tells you your search has expired and when u search again it says no matches found...

yeah now i set a 30-minute cookie to track the last visit. i used to set a cookie for the whole session (until all browsers window are closed) but that didn't work so great for me because i always have at least one IE window open :D
you prefered how it was before? or should i raise the cookie time to one hour? in the best case, i should set this as an option on the profile so people can choose what fits best for them...?

Just wanted to let you know, I've had a very busy summer so I haven't been able to do anything with VJC... but I should have a lot of spare time in September so I'll use it to fix bugs (including the chatroom one!) and add new features.
