Hi all,
just wondering - those who use the Powerbook's S-Video Out for performance, what settings do you use for Mac2TV (hardsync to tv, movie, aspect ration, ...) and which driver release have you installed?
I've just set up a new (well, old) Powerbook G4/800. Installed OSX (one has to) and then the package for OS9. After installation S-Video out worked properly, but not options for Mac2TV in the "ATI Displays" settings at all.
So i installed the ATI Drivers from October (1st release) and got all the options, except that it's not possible to switch to "Movie-Mode" -> "Error -600, ATI Monitor not installed". This i a known bug of the 1st release October drivers, but only in OSX. When I looked at the Extensions i couldn't find the extension "ATI Monitor", or Mac2TV.
I installed the newest ATI Drivers (October 2nd release) then - still no change. Also the Drivers from June didn't work as expected - Mac2TV will be installed, but the user interface of the "ATI Displays" app still looks like the one from the newer driver's release, and when activating "Movie-Mode", no errors, but a message: "Mac2TV activated" ??
How did you get around these things?
