As part of the BodyDataSpace/Future Physical lab & demonstration at the VJ conference AVIT 2005
on Thursday 28th April 2005
on the topic
"The Live Body into Vjing" we are keen to incorporate, showcase and discuss the latest bodycentric/video crossovers in the vidartworld at present
we are particularly interested in showcasing, discussing & involving vjs who use the human body (and its salient parts) as a major part of their recent performances
vjs who spring to mind - vj anyone, holly, catweasel and kriel all use and have developed visual sequences using the body creatively as content driven form
if you have one or two clips or short visual sequences that you would like to be part of the discussion then please submit them as follows :
mov or avi format preferable - 320x 240 res minimum
file size </= 10Mb
on dv tape, cd rom, dvd or via e mail to:

submissions should include a short 100 word description of interest about the clips -
ie.
how was the clip filmed/edited/shown?
what was unusual/interesting/difficult about the clips?
reaction to the sequence from peers/punters after seeing the clips
content concepts and decisions that drove the final clips
submission deadline 22nd april 2005
nb. all clips will be for educational and sole usage of this talk only, all video artists/vjs will be credited
