One thing we have enjoyed playing with is projection onto unique surfaces.
We have thousands of square feet of spandex to work with, and it is easy to make cool surfaces. Especially in boring cubicle rooms that need some form.
One common idea is to attach corners of spandex to walls, and ceiling, and stretch the thing out to round off the corner of the room.
Another idea is projecting onto weighted fabric which is being gently blown by fans. It takes expermentation, but you can get wicked trippy effects this way.
You can also make cylinders, spheres, whatever you want out of thin PVC and spandex. Put a projector INSIDE these objects and watch people try to figure it out.
Of course, projecting on things like rocks is cool if you have the chance (we did this at Redrocks ampitheater in colorado.. very cool!!)
Okay, those ideas are pretty tame! Lets hear the crazy stuff!
